On 15–16 October 2025, Smart Minds delivered the first local cohort of the LEGO® Serious Play® Foundational Facilitator Certification in Sofia.
The two-day certification marked an important step in building a professional community of LEGO® Serious Play® facilitators in Bulgaria - people equipped to use the method with structure, confidence and clear business purpose.
Delivered by Smart Minds in partnership with Inthrface, the programme introduced participants to the foundations of the LEGO® Serious Play® methodology: the core principles, facilitation standards, skills-building process and workshop design logic behind high-quality LSP experiences.
Across the two intensive days, participants moved between the roles of learner, builder, storyteller, facilitator and designer. They practised how to create space for deeper thinking, shared understanding and meaningful dialogue - especially in contexts where teams need clarity, alignment, innovation or ownership.
For Smart Minds, this first cohort was more than a training milestone. It was the beginning of a local facilitator community connected to an international standard and focused on using serious play for real organisational impact.
The certification supports professionals who want to apply LEGO® Serious Play® in areas such as strategy, culture, collaboration, leadership, innovation and change.
The first cohort is now part of the growing Smart Minds LEGO® Serious Play® community - built around practice, exchange and the belief that powerful facilitation should not be improvised.
