We performed a "Deep Dive" into the core of each venture, challenging the teams to define their value propositions and customer segments with precision. It is very different from standard trainings and meetings.<br /><br />The method allows people to build ideas, solutions and vision with their hands. This unlocks deeper thinking, more honest communication and more active participation.<br /><br />In my work with JAMBA and different youth and entrepreneurial initiatives, I see how important it is for people to be included in the conversation — regardless of their experience, communication style or personal challenges.<br /><br />LEGO® Serious Play® creates a space where everyone has a voice and can contribute equally.<br /><br />I plan to use the methodology in two directions: with young people and entrepreneurs, to support idea development, confidence and teamwork; and in social and educational initiatives connected to the inclusion of people with different abilities.</div><img src="https://static.tildacdn.com/tild6463-6265-4666-a363-383632636635/IMG_0228.JPG"><h2  class="t-redactor__h2">What would you say to another young professional who is considering applying but still hesitating?</h2><div class="t-redactor__text">I would definitely advise them to apply.<br /><br />LEGO® Serious Play® helps us deal better with change, challenges and the process of creating new ideas and solutions. It develops the way we think, communicate and work with people.<br /><br />The most valuable part is that the benefits do not stay only with the person who learns the method.<br /><br />They can then support the people around them - friends, colleagues, teams and communities - by giving them space to express their ideas, be heard and find a clearer direction.</div><h2  class="t-redactor__h2">You are active across different professional fields, with a clear commitment to social causes and their connection to business. Where do you see the greatest need for better dialogue, innovation and collaboration?</h2><div class="t-redactor__text">First, science.<br /><br />Many scientific developments remain unclear or inaccessible to the wider public. When science is communicated in a more human way, more people can understand, trust and build on innovation.<br /><br />Second, the connection between business, innovation and people.<br /><br />Every idea, product or service should be created with real benefit for people in mind. Good solutions have no value if they do not reach the people who need them.<br /><br />Third, the cause.<br /><br />Sustainable business should have a bigger mission than the product or service itself. It is also to build clarity, alignment, ownership, and human energy across teams working in increasingly complex environments.<br /><br />Smart Minds saw an opportunity to support the community beyond a standard event presence - by connecting recognition with real development opportunities for project teams, individual professionals, and volunteers.</div><h2  class="t-redactor__h2">The Smart Minds Approach </h2><div class="t-redactor__text">Smart Minds joined PM Summit &amp; Awards 2025 as a Partner and Exhibitor, organized by PMI Bulgaria Chapter.       <turbo:content><![CDATA[<header><h1>AUBG Elevate: Turning Startup Ideas into Stronger Business Models</h1></header><figure><img alt="" src="https://static.tildacdn.com/tild6439-3730-4831-b161-333663353537/elevate.png"/></figure><h2  class="t-redactor__h2">The Opportunity </h2><div class="t-redactor__text">AUBG Elevate Season 6 brought together eight early-stage startup teams working on diverse ideas - from autonomous robotics and drone delivery to pet care, student applications, consumer products, and local creator platforms.<br /><br />At this stage of the accelerator journey, the challenge was not only to have an idea.<br /><br />The teams needed to make their business logic clearer: who they serve, what value they create, how their solution fits the market, and what assumptions still need to be tested before pitching.<br /><br />The key question was: how do we help young founders move from promising ideas to sharper, more structured business models?</div><h2  class="t-redactor__h2">The Smart Minds Approach </h2><div class="t-redactor__text">Smart Minds was invited to lead a specialised Business Modeling and Business Model Canvas workshop for AUBG Elevate, following a recommendation from Eleven Ventures.<br /><br />The session was facilitated by Tzvetelina Teneva and combined lecture, practical work, presentation, and open time for questions.<br /><br />Instead of treating the Business Model Canvas as a static template, Smart Minds used it as a thinking and decision-making tool.<br /><br />The teams worked on refining the key elements of their business models, with specific focus on:<br /><ul><li data-list="bullet">clearer value propositions;</li><li data-list="bullet">sharper customer segments;</li><li data-list="bullet">better connection between problem, solution, and market need;</li><li data-list="bullet">stronger preparation for their final pitches.</li></ul><br />The workshop created space for the founders to step back from their ideas, challenge their assumptions, and translate their vision into a more structured business logic.</div><h2  class="t-redactor__h2">The Outcomes</h2><div class="t-redactor__text">The process helped the startup teams:<br /><ul><li data-list="bullet">refine their Business Model Canvases;</li><li data-list="bullet">clarify who their solution is really for;</li><li data-list="bullet">improve the way they explain their value proposition;</li><li data-list="bullet">identify gaps and assumptions in their business model;</li><li data-list="bullet">prepare their ideas more effectively for presentation and investor-facing conversations.</li></ul><br />The eight participating teams worked across different fields and business concepts: RobotNik, BlazeBox, Bolt Energy Gum, PetLawn, VYNX, Uspei!, Mosta, and Falcon.<br /><br />The strongest value of the session was clarity.<br /><br />The teams left with a better understanding of how to connect their idea, customer, value proposition, and execution logic into one coherent business model.</div><h2  class="t-redactor__h2">The Impact</h2><div class="t-redactor__text">By combining structured business thinking with hands-on practice, AUBG Elevate participants moved closer to turning early-stage ideas into pitch-ready ventures.<br /><br />For Smart Minds, the workshop was a practical contribution to the next generation of founders - helping them build not only confidence, but clearer business foundations.<br /><br />The result was stronger startup thinking, sharper positioning, and more focused preparation for the next stage of the Elevate journey.</div>]]></turbo:content>
