DVE Constructions: Scaling While Preserving What’s Unique

As DVE Constructions continues to grow and take on increasingly complex projects, the organisation saw an opportunity to strengthen the way tasks, goals, and responsibilities move across teams.

DVE’s success was already powered by strong teamwork, mutual support, and a shared understanding of how the whole system works. The next step was to make this strength more scalable — with clearer priorities, better-defined processes, role clarity, and more consistent communication.

The key question was: How do we scale without losing what makes us successful?

Smart Minds designed and facilitated SMART & LOOP — a collaborative development process combining LEGO® Serious Play®, practical management frameworks, and team-generated operating principles.

Тhe process explored how delegation, communication, and accountability function across the entire system. Participants mapped the current reality, envisioned a more effective future state, identified key accelerators and obstacles, and co-created practical principles to support everyday collaboration.

The process helped the team:

• strengthen alignment around effective delegation and communication practices;
• identify opportunities to improve processes, role clarity, and workload balance;
• create a shared understanding of priorities and decision-making;
• define practical communication principles and feedback loops;
• reinforce a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

One of the strongest insights was that DVE’s success is built not only on expertise, but on a deeply collaborative culture where people understand the wider system and actively support one another. At the same time, the team identified opportunities to complement this strength with clearer processes, structures, and communication practices to support future growth.

By combining structured reflection with practical frameworks, DVE Constructions transformed team experience into shared operating principles.
