1. Introduction
Smart Minds Ltd. uses cookies, and similar technologies (hereinafter referred to as “cookies”) to provide you with the best possible experience with us. We may use cookies in all of our digital channels such as our websites, emails, social media and the like (hereinafter referred to as “Services”). The purpose of this Cookie Notice is to provide you with information about the cookies we use, why we use them and what choices you have regarding cookies.
2. What are cookies?
A cookie is a text file that is downloaded to your device when you visit a website. A cookie allows a website to recognize your device and collect information about the pages and features you use. It also helps you remember choices you make when you navigate our website or when you return at a later time. Cookies are used on virtually all websites and are often a requirement for the website or digital channel to function. When we provide the Services, we use different types of cookies:
- First-party cookies are created by the website you are visiting at that particular moment, either by us or by a third party at our request.
- Third-party cookies are created by a party other than the website you are visiting. If you visit one of our websites or apps and another party places a cookie through that website, it is considered a third-party cookie.
- Session cookies are cookies that expire as soon as you close your browser.
- Permanent cookies are cookies that remain on your device for a certain period of time or until you delete them.
3. What cookies do we use?
Some of these cookies are essential for us to provide the Services while others are used to provide certain functionality, to improve usability and experiences, to enable us to measure and analyse the use of the Services or to provide marketing information. The different types of cookies and their purposes are explained in more detail below:
Essential cookies are required to enable you to access essential features of our Services and to enable us to comply with our legal obligations, such as managing consent to use cookies. Necessary cookies are also used to provide our Services securely and to enable certain features of our websites and apps in line with your choices, so that we can provide our Services as you have requested when you continue to use or return to the websites or apps, for example by remembering your preferences and ensuring that the website pages look consistent.
Non-essential cookies are used for the following purposes:
Marketing: to display relevant advertising in third-party channels (such as search engines and social media) based on first-party or third-party advertising cookies that collect information about your activity on our websites. We do not use information about your health to deliver advertising to you.
Performance and Analytics: To analyze how the websites and how the Services are performing and being used. We use this information to maintain, operate and improve our Services. We may also receive information from our email communications, including whether a newsletter was opened or forwarded or whether any material in it was clicked on.
When you use the Platform, you are asked to consent to the use of cookies that are not identified as necessary.
Our optional website measurement and marketing services are:
Analytics: Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity and the Visibilio Website Kit.
Advertising and marketing: Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight and Brevo website tracking.
Google Tag Manager delivers the Clarity and LinkedIn tags according to the relevant consent choice. The other services are loaded directly by the website after consent.
You can change these choices using the cookie settings button on the website. Optional services do not load until their category is enabled. Changing saved choices may refresh the page to stop previously loaded tracking services. The website's form submission and email notification services work independently of optional tracking.
If you, now or in the future, wish to refuse or delete cookies, you can do so via the settings in your browser or mobile device where you can block all or some cookies. Follow the instructions in your browser (usually found under "Help", "Tools" or "Edit"). Please note that if you set your browser to refuse cookies, you may not be able to use all the features of our websites.
4. Personal data
To the extent that we collect or otherwise process personal data in connection with this Cookie Notice, this information will be used as described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Changes
We may update this Cookie Policy. If we make material changes that requiring us to notify you or obtain your consent by law, you will be notified or given the opportunity to provide your consent.
